PayBelgium announces new Chair and Co-Chair

PayBelgium is pleased to announce the appointment of Magali Van Bulck (Wise) as the new Chair of the association, and Hendrik Frank (American Express) as the new Co-Chair.

With their combined expertise and leadership, PayBelgium is well positioned to continue shaping a competitive, innovative, and secure payments landscape in Belgium.

Magali currently leads European public policy and corporate communications at Wise (formerly TransferWise). She brings extensive experience in cross-border payments, innovation, and financial services policy, having worked in multiple European markets. Commenting on her appointment, Magali said:

“I’m grateful to join my co-chair Hendrik Frank in leading PayBelgium. It’s more important than ever that the voice of the wider payments industry is heard, not just those with a banking license. Hendrik Frank is Director Public Affairs at American Express and has long-standing experience in financial services, with a focus on payments innovation and regulatory engagement. Upon his appointment, Hendrik commented:
